In addition, Wilson added that he has had a good reception from the city, as well as from the board, coaches and teammates, so he hopes that in the following season Denver can fight not only for the leadership of the AFC West but for the first places of the American Conference.

 “It’s been a blessing to come here, to come to an amazing city like Denver, to be a part of it with so many amazing teammates and a great coaching staff,” he said.

The Broncos will open the season with a visit to Seattle on Monday Night Football and as part of the first day of the team’s organized activities, Wilson spoke to the media to explain what Seattle means to him.

“It will always be a special place in my heart. 

For me, it’s going to be going out there, trying to play the best football our team can play, and coming out on top.

“I think it will be an exciting moment. Obviously, Seattle meant the world to me for the last ten years. I think for me, it shouldn’t be emotional, it shouldn’t be. I have to be able to go and understand that it’s just a game,” Wilson said.
